According to the newspaper "Business" the quantity of rooms in the closed hotels of Moscow has exceeded quantity of rooms in open hotels almost on 6 thousand rooms.
Experts are assured that such situation will last still at least till 2008, until then yet do not start many declared projects, among them is the construction of new hotels in a place of hotels "Intourists" and "Moscow". For now the average price of the room has grown by 2005 on 34 % and, possibly, will be growing approximately with the same rates for two next years.
Initially existing deficiency of hotel rooms in Moscow is aggravated with gradual reduction of already operating number fund of a city which occurs for the closing account on reconstruction of old hotels. The total number fund of "reconstructed" hotels essentially exceeds total number fund of the hotels placed in operation that has led to formation there is nobody number vacuum, the senior vice-president of company Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels Marina Usenko ascertains.
